Well I have 166 photos online, 21 sales and I'm half way to my first payment.
I was a major learning curve form me and my acceptance ration unfortunately reflect that.
One thing I would like to share with everyone who beginning their journey with micro stock is to look for trademarks and artwork.
It seems obvious and simple but it's not, since trademarks are everywhere - t-shirts, shoos, coffee mugs... even on price tags.
Artwork is also something to have in mind, when shooting at home take off all the paintings, posters, even a clock with a logo will earn you a rejection. When you are shooting at a location it's even more important to find the clean angles or use shallow depth of field.
I know you can remove most of the trademarks in PS or other graphic software but time spent on it is just not worth it, you will spend much less time simply being proactive and removing trademarks before you shoot.
Hope that helps some new contributors, and to all designers - keep downloading! ;)
