Addictions.

I created a few images on quitting smoking and other addictions such as credit earlier this year and have also searched the Dreamstime data base.

Another problem area is gambling especially online

Sex addiction is well illustrated here on Dreamstime

I can imagine readers of this blog saying to themselves I am not addicted to anything ........ but I have an admission to make........ I am addicted to photography. The Proof is the purchase of books devoted only to photography for my Christmas present. Titles include...........complete guide to digital photography, complete photography course, the digital photography book, people pictures and how to photograph absolutely everything.

Burk Uzzle the American Photographer explains the addiction .. he says ' Photography is a love affair with life '.

To achieve 50 uploads per month on Dreamstime you need to dream about images 24 hours each day !!!!!!!!!! Are you an addict after all ?

PS Two packets of B and H cigarettes per day cost over £420 per month.........Any smokers here should think about it You need £600 per month before tax to pay for smoking here in the UK.

	Posted by Joezachs on December 18, 2011 I know of a gentleman who smoked for 40 years and suddenly quit one fine day. No taper down, no gradual withdrawl..... just a straight full stop. So its a question of will power. It may look stylish in the movies but its definitely something that we can do away with.

I keep one packet cellotaped up............... even without any desire the hand over -rules me and then I say oh no dont go there !!!!!!!!!!! David

If you calculate the savings that is a spur to keeping your resolve...........did you cough every morning in the shower............ thats what cigarettes cause........ congratulations. David.
	Posted by Debramillet on December 17, 2011 I smoked cigarettes for a quarter century until a month and a half ago, now i still smoke but electric cigarettes(nicotine and water vapor), feel sooo much better! I highly recommend it as a starting point to antone wanting to quit. Happy Holidays everyone!

When you are next ill with a chest infection start using patches on your arms. Think about the money you will save.......... a new camera every year or more holidays become affordable.
