Dear Santa,

I can't believe it's time once again to deck the halls.


Sitting down to write my list of wishes this year,
I realize something is different.


While you know I appreciate all the bright, shiny gifts
you've brought me in the past
(I DO love gold!),
this year I find my desires turning to simpler things.






So Santa here's a list of my wishes for Christmas this year.





Santa, I wish I would remember to take the time to show the important people in my life how very special they are to me.




And Santa, I wish I could slow down enough to appreciate all the simple pleasures life can bring.
