After the long cool dark winter struggling to create and upload innovative images to Dreamstime the thought of choosing a holiday destination filled me with excitement. Early spring is best because of special low priced deals on offer at the start of the season before children's school term ends. I chose two weeks in Crete at a small fishing port , Sissi, on the north coast 40 kilometres from the capital and airport at Heraklion.
The are plenty of tavernas by the harbor where I sat drinking morning coffee and thinking about the next photograph........
' Happy holidays; raise a glass to that ' struck me as a title and I created this image to fit the title getting my wife to hold a glass of wine with sea and sky as simple plain background.
