Star Trails

>When we see a nice star trail photo, we instantly start ooing and awing as it inspires us to ponder our skies and the cosmos beyond. I've wanted to emulate these types of photos for sometime now, but didn't know how. Even though these photos take considerable time and effort, they are very rewarding indeed!
Here are my first star trail attempts. I researched the web for multiple techniques, some of which I used. I won't go into all the details, because there are a lot (and I still have a lot to learn)! However I will give some examples of my first go at it.

I chose Watson Mill Covered Bridge, a historic covered bridge in Northeast Georgia. There is no ambient light here (no street lights) so after taking multiple 30 second exposures, I decided to paint the bridge and foreground with light...
