Huh! This become a brain puzzle. Maybe I was with my camera in winter but the street light was in summer?? Last check: my telephoto lens is a 300 mm and not 3000 mm.

'Igor, you said: "The answer is WINTER. Now that's for sure..."' (c)
Oh, really? Well, I said. And so, the principal question now is WHAT DID I MEAN SAYING THAT? Solving this problem we will solve your puzzle.
As for me, I have strong reasons to think that I ment Spring, the most probably...
What do you think?

Heywood, you are right, the rules are not OK, your logic is from Vulcan :D So the new rule is: kisses for female photographers and beer for males. Chocolate is not good for health so out from prize. So Igor, Ebamo, Dgmate, Dprogers go on winter, Twindesign, Davidwatmough, Martingraf on summer. Martingraf want beer and not kisses, the next contest will be: Alvera is male or female? :)) Rules update: no kisses for married photographers. Please complete form W8772-Q87-B221 to prove your status. Heywoody have a beer already for fine tuning the rules. The contest is still on.

The keywords say winter. You can keep the beer. Higs, kisses or chocolate will do :-)
I'm just wondering what the 10 closest guesses to a question with 2 possible answers might be like :-D

Too many for the insects. Besides if they are really insect they stay near the lamp. I would say windy WINTER.
Getting ready for the kisses
I live in Australia and even we had so far a cold summer with snow in the mountains - so I like the risk to say its SUMMER and there is snow on the latern and it is rather windy, so the snow flakes are flying all over the place - but I'm married, so I'm not allowed to take any kisses, so can I please have the beer or chocolate to not get into trouble in case I win?

Please put the wind in equation David.
Movements are horizontal or upwards so I guess insects blown or flying about.............. snow flakes tend to fall downwards. David. PS Have I won and where are you to collect the prize ?

All in all - don't pull my leg, please... :-)
Winter in one hemisphere….and summer in another.
NB2. Or, saying, an autumn...
NB. If it only is not a summer.
Look - the pillar is covered by somethhing. Which can not be insects. Consequently it's snow. Consequently there are just snowflaces around the light. So, this is the winter. If I only am not wrong. Which is not a case. So. I am right.
My guess is WINTER.
Now kiss me...
:-)

I put winter words in description but who knows?! Maybe are some bugs :)
Winter? Since you put the keywords in the discription. But it could be summer since the stripes are not all the same way they would be in a storm with wind. There are vertical and horizontal stripes. So I go for summer evening.
