Published Photos! Credits???     posted on 28th of january, 2012

I saw 6 of my photos published in a book, I started to be very happy to see them published but then I realized that there was no name anywhere near my photos, so I went back to the editorial page and noticed that the only credits were to two photographers ( who had also pictures in the book ) and to Dreamstime.com! is that righ? I did not like the fact that there are no credits for me! shouldn't there be?

Yeah years of learning and now what... good photos, good portfolios, professional contributors... and no money:) Files is so cheap we earn 100$ from ~60 sales.. that is pathetic... but that is reality :( - posted by TMarchev on January 29, 2012
There should be credits for you, DT suggest all buyers to give credit to the photographer, but not always happens, I heve seen some of my photographs in very prestigious magazines with no credits. At the end you should be proud of your work, that's the best gift to you. - posted by Egomezta on January 28, 2012
