Baby Photographs Questions

Good day everyone,

I'm currently wondering if submitting my baby's pictures here is a good idea since I have seen many other babies images posted. I was asking my self if it was safe . I would like for anyone who has already posted their baby's images to tell me a little of their experience if at all possible and also what type of model release to fill out. I know there was one that DT was using but could not find the link. Your comments are appreciated.

Also consulting with my wife (if she is not happy I could get in trouble LOL ). Thanks again and have a good day to all! =)

My child is a baby and each month he changes his apparience, if you see him now, he is a different chil that two month ago and not recognizable. No problem, upload photos from some time ago if you wanna be sure.
	Posted by Rosedarc on March 20, 2012 To find DT model releases go to Resources / Utilities MR DT and download the release for models less than 18 years. I think it is safe to use your kids as models, but don't portray them in ways you wouldn't like them to be associated with since you have no control over the articles they might illustrate (for example you might prefer to show them healthy and happy than sad and eating junk food). Just try to think about how your images might be used. There is a lot of competition in this segment but then again photos of babies are used a lot of designers.
	Posted by Calyx22 on March 20, 2012 I use my children (though they aren't babies anymore), and I've never had a problem. DT has specific rules of use for images (I think you can find them in the FAQ section). I say go for it! You will have little models for your portfolio! The model release is the under 18 one. 	Posted by Inyrdreams on March 19, 2012 hi there, well no personal info is given about the children in the photo and i think we all use our kids! I have all 4 of my grand kids on here as well as some of their friends and all MY children, grown and when they were small! I think its totally safe. I have used my family for the last 25 years in news papers and magazines and studio displays as we all know family works th cheapest and is readily available! use the copy rite release for DT.. there is a specific one for minors under 18 that the parent fills out and its a good one. you can go to managment area and go to questions to find it. its a little tricky.. i struggle to find it too when i need a copy! i wish they would make it easier to find. good luck!
