I have been dreaming of becoming a stock photographer for almost a year now, and spent the last 5 months in the Pit of Dispair at not succeeding! I had been trying to get in with some other Stock Photo companies (I know, I know...blasphemy!) and after facing months of rejection with them, I finally gave up for awhile. Not permanently, but for a time. I realized I should take some time and learn a few things, and then someday I will come back to it. Well, a couple weeks ago, I found Dreamstime, and thought I would give it another shot, and lo and behold, I got an image accepted!!! Needless to say, I was over-the-moon excited, and realized that I was NOT a failure as a photographer! Right from the start, I had a good feeling about being with Dreamstime, and i really wish I had found them earlier! I look forward to years of participation and getting to know other photographers here, and learning from others who are as successful as I wish to be!

	Posted by Martingraf on April 21, 2012 I know what you mean Rachel - Dreamstime is a good place to be - I like your portfolio already - quite a variety but my favorites are the New York pic and the areal photography of the farmlands --- never ever give up!

There is a lot of great info in the forums for you to learn from, and you can use rejections as learning experiences as well. I wish you the best of luck and every success for you. Happy shooting! :)
