Microstock = Microloans

posted on 9th of april, 2012

I have great news to share! Today I made my 35th microloan at Kiva.org from the proceeds of my microstock portfolio! My goal is to reach 50 microloans by the end of this year. Thank you to everyone who has purchased from my Dreamstime portfolio. You have helped me fund 35 women entrepreneurs located throughout the world, women who want to dig out of poverty and create a better life for their families.

About me

I've been a photographer for over 30 years. My background ranges from portraits and weddings to fine art and industrial photography. Now I just photograph for fun and enjoy whatever passes in front of my camera. Profits from the sale of my microstock images are invested in women entrepreneurs to help alleviate poverty through microfinancing.
