400 downloads and rising:

posted on 24th of may, 2012

This month I had the pleasure of reaching a total of 400 downloads on Dreamstime. The images that did it were two of the seafront at Mandraki on the Greek island of Nisyros. They sold at the same time to (I assume) the same buyer so jointly get the award as sale number 400.

For anyone not familiar with this Aegean island, one of its main attractions is the still active volcano where you can walk down to the surface of the crater. Just beware of the sudden jets of steam that catch out unwary tourists. Also, try to avoid falling into the fumaroles of hot bubbling mud. It is a great experience and, needless to say, take your camera.

Now to push on to 500 downloads!
Regards, David.

great and real photos! My hubby and i visited the greek island of zakinthos many years ago and it was also a beautiful spot lots of rocks and stony areas. We climbed up the side of a restauraunt which we had to hold onto railings and it was the most terrifying experience for me that is scared of heights but I lucky enough had a few drinks to give me dutch courage before hand so that helped but i did it and enjoyed every minute.

Hey, congrats!

I am not sure if the great experience you mention is falling into the fumaroles or visiting the Greek Islands, but I will take the visit is certainly a great experience...

LOL! Maybe if it was somebody else falling into them......Regards, David.
