Today is Memorial Day in the US. While for many of us it means a day off work, an excuse to have a barbecue with friends and family, or the unofficial start of summer - we should not forget the true meaning behind the holiday - a chance to remember and honor the men and women of the military who have fallen in the line of duty.

For all the Armed Forces men and women - thank you for your service!

For the friends and family of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defending this country - we are forever in your debt.
