	Posted by Toynutz on June 14, 2012 The amazing thing about Oregon is that it has so many different ecosystems and climates. The Oregon coast has broad ocean beaches and rugged shorelines. The Willamette Valley (pronounced wil-LAM-it) has green farmland, lush rainforests, and big cities. The Cascades have high mountain lakes below snow capped peaks flanked by vast evergreen forests. Eastern Oregon is a huge expanse of semi-arid desert, drifting dunes, dry lake beds, remote mountains and valleys, lost forests and the spectacular Painted Hills, among other amazing features.
