Tips.
I brought a fish eye lense (8-15mm), a wide angel (17-40mm) and standard (24-105mm), a small tripod. spare batteries and lots of memory cards.
Since the trip involved a lot of hiking, walking, jumping in and out of trains, I figured those should be enough since I dont want to burden myself with heavy packs.
I did some research on Cinque Terre and decided a fish eye lens will be especially helpful in the narrow street and back alleys of Cinque Terre.
Most of the images were captured using Aperture Priority mode. Using manual was a bit time consuming since the it will take a lot of time to get the correct exposure.
I also used a polarizing filter to give a little bit more saturation and enhance the colors of the images. Its particularly useful to use when taking the crystal clear sea to eliminate the suns reflection on the surface.
