India, an explorer's paradise

posted on 22nd of september, 2012

Being a travel freak I am lucky to get a wonderful group of explorers. Most of them are photographers. We roam around our motherland, a wonderful country which is mainly known for its diversity in every aspect. From Himalaya to Indian Ocean you can find thousands of travel destinations along with 'n' number of people, 'n' number of culture and 'n' number of languages.

Here is a collection of pictures from my Travel diary:

Beautiful tropical sunset at Andaman island.
Best place to relax and enjoy your vacation, Havelock island's beach. Thousands of foreigners come every year to visit and stay here. Famous for scuba diving and snorkeling.
Valley of Sikkim, better known as Switzerland of East.
Rocky coastline of Goa and Arabian sea. Famous for Exotic beach parties and ancient churches.
Historical Islamic tomb at Andhra Pradesh
Aerial view of Pearl city, Hyderabad
Taj Hotel, Mumbai, a world heritage site
Traditional Indian Dance near Konark temple
Indian tattoo or Mehendi with Arabic design
Homemade Indian Sweet dish, prepared for festival
Fancy shoe shopping
Folk dancers at Orissa
Pilgrims at sacred city, Varanasi

Oh yes...if you are visiting India you should have prior knowledge about the places and attractions....from food to culture everything would amaze you :)

Yes, India can be a photographer's paradise. When I went there I was not really into photography, so most of my pics were just snapshots. I would love to go back now, with more knowledge and better gear, and get some "real" photographs instead of snapshots.
