Just a little over nine months ago we go the news that our little family will be member richer. The nausea came and went and the excitement of those first flutters and kicks came along with the growing tummy, clothes getting smaller and preparing the baby room.



Fast forward to three weeks ago and we are heading to the hospital for the imminent arrival of my little girl.
Arriving at the hospital we are ushered into the labour ward and the usual checks and tests take place. The time left before my little princess arrives was shorter than we thought.


Fast forward again, two hours later we are holding our little girl. Still full of vernix and blinking at the bright lights, taking her first breaths and squealing for all she is worth.

I was so happy that I took the camera with. I didn't have a lot of time to get snap shots in with labour taking place but did manage these three right after birth.



There are opportunities everywhere and even the excitement and joy of a new birth and family member heralds the opportunity to increase the size of your portfolio.
