It’s been a year since I became a Dreamstime contributor – WOW! I remember when I checked out this website for the first time and found so many wonderful photos and illusitrations here! I thought how nice it would be to see my photos here one day… And now my portfolio exceeds 600! This is something I’m really happy about! Dreamstime helps me to grow, develop and expand my horizons. At the same time, it’s a possibility to show the others what I see and what I like, and to let pictures live their own lives!
I would like to mention a few things that make Dreamstime a really special agency to me.
(1)
Assignments. Every assignment is a serious challenge and a lot of fun! It brings many bright ideas, it shows different points of view towards the same topic. It's a reason to take a fresh look at the old photos and find some works you maybe missed before. When the assignment subject is related to the season, it brings additional reason to go out right now and take new pictures! I’m sure that no one should miss the opportunity to participate in assignments.
(2)
Geotagging. I realized it’s very useful to geotag images. You have a possibility to “walk” again those streets where you’ve taken your pictures, and it feels like you know the place better now. Sometimes it’s very easy to geotag the photo as famous landmarks are marked the map already, but sometimes you need to search for the address first to put the image on the right place. I hope that geotagging is useful for buyers too!

Quick feedback. When I have a question, I get the answer very quickly; it can come on the same day. It goes without saying that the response is always professional, polite and right to the point! And there's always a possibility to discuss, to share opinions with editors, to "defend" your image and provide explanations. To me it shows that Dreamstime does care about the contributors, and the editors team consists of the real professionals!
As a conclusion, I can say that I’m looking forward to the 2nd year of our cooperation with Dreamstime!
Happy New Year to everyone!
