May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet agan,
May God hold you safe in the palm of His hand.

Or my personal favorite

May you already be in heaven
a half hour before the devil knows your dead!

The Year of the Intrepid Photographer

Happy New Year !!!

Okay, I know what you're thinking.
Either the girl has fallen under the spell of an evil time-warping witch doctor,
Or she's extremely chronologically challenged.

The Truth is Neither!

I'm not celebrating the boring old Gregorian New Year,
I'm celebrating my dreamstime New Year.
March 25th is the first day of my third year in this wonderful community
(It is also the New Year as celebrated in the 11th Century on the Julian Calendar - who knew??)

Anyway, I've decided to try a new approach to commemorating this festive occasion.

Instead of dragging out and reusing the same, old resolutions
(boy, it would be nice if I ever actually did any of these things ....)
