It was the first day of Chinese New Year Celebration last Saturday.










In The Hague, the Chinese community is quite huge and contribute a lot for the social activities of the city. They succeeded to create a kind of Chinatown mood with the creation of the chinese gate landmarking the entry and the exit of the chinese area.

As the community organize every year the celebration of the new year, I used to spend some hours there to snap some picture of the VIP, of the dragon dances and some martial demonstrations.

I posted some on DT that I processed. Lately, I told to myself why to not ask for a fast review? Some local newspapers editor might need them? But, such a nice surprise ... my four pictures has been approved in less that one hour. Some more, it is not the last surprise. The two first the pictures has been selected for the "In the News" gallery. Youpi!
