Very nice. I had planned to get to Myanmar earlier this year but couldn't get the dates to line up so went to China instead. But I think Myanmar has a lot of photographic potential at the moment.

Hi Henry
Yes, I have shot some of my images using high ISO settings. Especially dark temple interiors, the caves at Pindaya and some of the market shots.

I use a Canon 5D Mk111 which has an amazing low light / high ISO capability producing very little noise. I generally use a little fill flash too. Most were taken without a tripod which in many places would be far to obtrusive, especially in the temples. All my images are individually worked on with no batch processing.

Very beautiful, colorful and amazing shots of a lovely country. Thanks for sharing.

It has various cultures, easily satisfied people and many amazing and magnificent pagodas there. Wondering how can you manage to capture so many I think at least a thousand to 2. Especially shots like market places and people, sharp and focus, yes, saw one of your images was shot with ISO 2000. So I don't think you use tripod for those shots. I went there last year but was not able to shoot as many as you did.

Congratulations and cant wait to see more beautiful photos.
Cheers..

You're making me jealous here... I just love Asia and this must be truly amazing.

I'm sure you'll have great sales, not much people going there yet.

Hi Brett
Yes, fantastic location, so much to see. If you plan on going, go soon before mass tourism changes everything. If you need any recommendations contact me.

About me

I was a professional Industrial / Commercial photographer for over 26 years, before leaving commissioned work to become a full-time \'Stock\' Photographer. I first started shooting stock in 1972 as a suppliment to my commissioned work, however, since early 2001 my entire income has come from shooting \'Stock\' images. I have over 60,000 image placements in my current multi-agency portfolio. (Some images are \'exclusive\' some \'non-exclusive\') Most of my income comes from the range of mainstream agencies I submit to. The 11 m... [Read more]
