Too hot !!

posted on 7th of august, 2013

This year, in Europe there is a terrible heat. African peace in many Member States residents do not give a temperature from the Mediterranean deep into the continent. Anyone who needs to work and spend leisure time in is very hard. Heated walls of concrete and steel buildings

do not give peace of mind. The only solution to this problem is air conditioning.

Good luck to those who can swim in their own pool, unfortunately I do not have just as much luck.

But I have something else, of which I am very pleased. This is a small cottage on the lakes in Rožnov South of Polish. It is a wooden baby hidden in the Woods right on the banks of Lake. This is not a natural lake just a reservoir of very old firewall, which began to build during the second world war.
Before I show you photos from that location, I will describe a little of that history and dam.
About the ride, causing dangerous floods began at the end of thinking Youngster and World War I. The initiator of the construction of the dam, the author of the first draft and a permanent consultant to the design and the construction of the dam was Prof. Karol Pomianowski. The realization of his project, developed in the 1920s-1930s, was due to the reigning economic crisis then postponed until July 1934 flood, which took place on 18 July 1934 on the Dunajec River, speeded up the decision to start construction of the reservoir. Final draft of the dam based on the work of Prof. Pomianowskiego prepared Waterways Office of the Ministry of communications. Investments initially entrusted to ing. Ziemowitowi Śliwińskiemu. Construction work began in February 1935, and was completed in 1941, the firewall was erected across the "rożnowskiej loop", in the valley bottom flowed a meandering River. Filling of the tank began in the second half of 1941, and its complete filling took place in 1943 after the spring and summer spate of water .

The firewall is, and i hope that long yet. The bottom line is what gave her building. Security against floods in Krakow and many other smaller cities from the South Polish. A little bit of electric power, and above all a beautiful place of rest in the forest over the clear water of the Lake. Large amounts of tasty fish and the possibility of sailing. And yet one very important detail, all tired of the noise and pace of life in there for relaxation and tranquillity

In the surrounding area you can find many historic buildings and churches. There are ruins of a medieval castle, fortifications, Renaissance, a few kilometres away is the old church built on the site of Hermitage and a small wooden old graveyard Chapel.

Unfortunately I am very rarely bothered by lack of time, but luckily I am leaving soon for a few days there, I already have a plan of where to go to photograph. There are many places where I was not yet with a camera may soon show them in another blog.
All the tired heat I wish a little cold, I greet.

Sunlight is good for you. It helps your body make vitamin D, which is essential for the body and helps you accept calcium in the foods you eat. Building up calcium gradually helps build strong bones throughout your lifetime and prevents osteoporosis.

Though in this case its over the safe limit. Stay hydrated and indoors when the heat gets unbearable.
