100 Sales!

I've been on Dreamstime just over 2 years. I started with the hope of making a decent living at stock photography, but have found that it takes a lot of effort and a lot of time - with really delayed gratification.

Today I've sold my 100th image, an editorial image.

Our area was hit by baseball size hail, and of course I toured the town with my camera to capture some of the damage.



My own truck and travel trailer were damaged horribly. Our yard was pummeled as well.



I've learned a lot over the past 2 years - and being a stock photo contributor has forced me to improve my craft and raise my standards! While I'm not getting rich, I do appreciate the education I'm receiving as a contributor.

Another milestone!

I recently reached 600 images uploaded on Dreamstime!

This is Dillon, I tell him he's my star! He's my 600th image, and I have quite a few of him. It helps that he's so photogenic!



And our small town is still recovering from a large hail storm, so editorial photo opportunities are everywhere:

I'm thankful for Dreamstime because working as a stock photographer has forced me to improve my skills and look for things that are commercially valuable. My acceptance ratio is improving as well.
