Giuseppe Parisi: Photographer, Matte Painter, Illustrator

Giuseppe Parisi was born June 27, 1983 in Naples, Italy.

After completing his Primary and Secondary education in Naples, Giuseppe went on to study at Naples Medical School for three years, but decided to make a change in his life plan. His love for language began his studies at the Orientale University of Naples where he is currently studying English and Spanish Languages and Literatures.

Although Giuseppe started using a camera when he was very young, it was not until 2004 that he started to make photography a serious hobby, choosing Canon equipments as his favourite ones.

Since then Giuseppe has been trying to improve his skills and knowledge of cameras and in digital retouching software. In 2008, Giuseppe's devotion for digital photography enabled him to qualify to be in the top ten in the Canon Contest “The Assignment”. In the 2009 he was honored to be selected as the winner of the Sony World Photography Award in the Amateur Landscape category.

Today, Giuseppe is trying to incorporate his photographic skills with his drawing and painting abilities to produce matte paintings and brave manipulations and illustrations in order to explore different avenues in the world of graphic arts.
