1000 stock images milestone?

posted on 26th of may, 2011

Dealing with stock photos, it would definitely make your own photography style changed, either slightly or vigorously.

To overcome this situation, photographer need to adjust their mood time by time. Luckily, I would like to say, I can do that now! However, a break is needed for me.

Thinking 1000 images in dreamstime is a milestone for me, and afterwards, may take a short break. As long as I am quite inactive here and this is not a real easy task...see...I just got around 350 images now...

Still a long way to go.

Anyway, I love blogging system of dreamstime. It makes photographer do more sharing indeed, just like me, I am writing here now.

Its not easy sometimes to separate stock shots from other images. I dont move very quickly getting things uploaded myself, so I understand what you mean. Heres to hoping you hit 1000 sooner than you think! :)

Thanks a lot!
Work hard together!:)

I know what you mean, I have found myself not taking the camera out thinking I'm not in the mood to shoot stock... then have to think well I used to shoot only for fun with no thought of "quality", saleability, will it get a thumbs up from a reviewer.....

Taking a break is good at times but I'm sure you will hit 1000 uploads sooner than you think and we can then celebrate that with you :-)

Good luck and keep up the good work :-)

Brett.

Yes!! I love your description, really reveals what I want to say...(as my english is not really good lol)...

I am quite sure I want to take a little short break after 1000 uploads...well...as the upload limits really restricts me a lot...In fact I have achieved in 2 other sites already. Let's share more thoughts tgt here.

About me

Born, grow up and living in Hong Kong, Jess is probably one of the few local devoted female photographers specialized in microstock in town. Started taking photos seriously in 2007. Being trained in the field of photography and advertising in a renowned university in Shanghai, China. Graduated in Hong Kong in 2009, majoring in Cultural Studies. The experience of being a reporter and the several awards won in photography competitions encourage me to take up photography more seriously. Now I enjoy different fields of photography, especially microstock and scenery.
