When you start creating illustrations for microstock you have to put inside something that sells, right?
So, what? Happy Birthday illustrations? Merry Christmas and Happy Easter? And maybe Valentines and so on...
But when you have hundreds of images the "Happy Birthday" illo is nothing new.
So in these days I'm pretending to have a client. Yes, maybe it seems a little bit schizophrenic, but I'm the illustrator, the client, and the final costumer of my work.
So I ask myself: what do you want to illustrate? What do you need to communicate?
Not just "Happy birthday" right?
Maybe something more.
