First year at DT and my first sale

>This month, I celebrate one year at DT.
Photograhing iss for me a hobby and an obsession that started in november, 2008 when I bought my first camera - compact bridge Fujifilm S1000fd -, for a time, I was quite happy with it. Improving my photography skills was one of the main reasons for which I join in 2010 Stock Photography and Dreamstime. For me, being rewiev and accepted from a professional level was a huge challenge.
But really soon I became really frustrated. In the first months, I uploaded 15 photos but only two of them were admitted, most of them were rejected for technical reasons such poor quality lens, chromatic aberations or frying lens.
So, in november 2010, I decided it was time for an upgrade: I bought my first DSRL. I must admite, I am crazy about this gear, it is really great....

	Posted by Archangel72 on May 18, 2011 Nice blog and great story. I myself started with only few pictures in the begging, and received lots of rejections with wide variety of reasons. In time those rejections were reduced and acceptance ratio increased. However, due to lack of photo equipment I still receive rejections, but, I've learned a lot from them, and I still learning and will never stop. Dreamstime made me realize about mistakes I did in my photography. At first I was frustrated just like you, but now I realize that this was necessary path in my improvement and constant progress. Today, when I look at some of my photos, mild smile crosses my lips. And... this is not the end... No... It's just a little scratch on thick surface of this beautiful art. Never give up on your talent. Give yourself a time, and success won't miss you. At the end of this comment I would like to thank you for adding me as your favorite photographer.
