The Art of Money     posted on 22nd of august, 2008

Well I have always enjoyed the look of money from around the world. I find it very interesting how each country is so very different when it comes to their currency. All the sizes and the different colors. Some countries put holes in the center of coins others leave them fully intact.

Every country has different size bills except the United States, which I also find interesting. The effort put into the design of a single bill or coin is just amazon when you watch the process and design. I have toured both the US mint in Denver, CO and the US Bill printer facility in Ft. Worth, TX...sorry no pictures, that's forbidden. Another thing fascinating is the detail gone into keeping the bills from being counterfeited with water marks, silkscreens, threaded ...

Nice picture of the Canadian bills. Years ago I got a one thousand dollar canadian bill and I should have kept it as it ceased to be printed after year 2000 and it has become a collectible item.... - posted by Py2000 on August 22, 2008

Another goal down     posted on 13th of august, 2008

As stated in my last blog, I have been more aggressive with shooting and uploading this summer then I have been in the past. All this has been to push my hobby even further and get a better understanding of the stock industry. As my professors in architectural always told me practice and failure only makes you better...along with you can sleep when you are dead. That however is another subject. So today I reached another milestone here at DT, my 100th image below is up and running along with my 111 image which was the last one in the latest series of uploads. With August shaping up to be a strong month for me, I know my third goal of the summer is not that far way.

Woot!!!     posted on 31st of july, 2008

I must say I am very excited. I have now reached for the first time my half way point on sales. This is very exciting as I fuel my hobby and love for photography. I have really only just started this year to aggressively add to my portfolio and try to double my images every few months...we will see how I well keep up :-p. I hope the buys and everyone at the sites enjoys my work and finds it very useful. Thanks again to my buyers, DT, and of course my fellow contributors. Now onto the next half,

FYI: The lucky photo that pushed me over the edge was (bathing suites anyone?):

Rolling On In     posted on 6th of march, 2008

Now that my portfolio is growing I am seeing earning starting to see the sales roll on in, it’s very exciting might I add. I have moved my portfolio up to 41 images and tried to get everything from signs, buildings, people, etc....basically a broad scope to see what does best and with more photos on the way I hope to continue my growth here at DT. As I have learned, time plus photos equals exposure. Feel free to take a look at my portfolio and make any comments you see fit.
