Footage - to...do or not to do?

posted on 26th of august, 2014

My dearest friends! I felt a "victim" in a newly born stream of video at DT. Footage is fun... It's nice looking for some scenes to capture, but... I ask myself if there are chances it can be as popular as stills? Should I dedicate my time to it, taking it from photos?... Just because it's not my main occupation - rather a serious hobby. What do you think about footage - to do or not to do?...

I think it depends what you are selling and how good the quality is. It's the same with photography, if there is a demand for it, there will be sales!

can't say anything about commercial potential of your footage, but as video editor can give a small advice, if you don't mind, that footage could be more stable and little more dynamic - more behaviors or points of view or close-up scenes mixed in one video (especially speaking about horse fragment)
