Sometimes small things can be exciting. By this I mean some of our small sales. I just had my first exciting 60 cent sale! Whoo-Hooo! It was the first time I had a download with 2 views and only two days after I got the photo on line. The other exciting thing was that the bloom wasn't killed by a late spring frost so maybe, just maybe, I will have some fresh, juicy apples in my yard this year. I also had a quick download of a plant in my garden ( and I thought I was behind the curve with my spring photos). I'm taking orders for fruits and vegetables if anyone is interested.

Yay! I now have 2 great big level 2 photos in my portfolio! It only took me, like, for--ever------- No, it's not jealously you hear in my voice because some people know what they are doing and seem to accomplish things overnight. I am totally enjoying myself and hope to keep going upwards. Thank you buyers, keep looking, please. I don't have any desire to do what one of my latest uploads says: (Wishing Time Flew Backwards) I plan to keep looking ahead and striving to get better until I run out of time!

Well, it's official--spring has come. My last two articles were about spring and now it's here. Hope those who are still waiting won't have to wait much longer. I had my windows cleaned and also have gotten some colorful shots. Now if the lake will just get warm enough for a long swim----------------- Guess I'll be back soon complaining about the heat of the summer, even though my area isn't too bad. I love the changing seasons!

I like them too but not on April. There is a Vernissage I wanted to attend tomorrow and what a joy it would be if I don“t have to wear (not again!) a winter coat. Cheers! - posted by

Oh, but I like the snow, also. I would get bored if I didn't have seasonal changes. You get a lot more than I do so I understand how you can be tired of it by now. Stay warm and dry! - posted by

I envy you Susan, my place is still far from spring. I woke up this morning with high snow everywhere. I must go out quickly to take shots of daffodils and crocuses covered with snow in the garden. - posted by

Holy----------- Tornadoes are doing a lot of damage to my state! It started last night and is going on today. I hope all the photographers in those areas are staying safe while they shoot. One of my sons lives a mile from where a large one touched down. I'm not going to drive down but I'll bet we see a lot of storm damage photos on here! Hold tight and good luck to all in the path!! Oops, here comes another one, over the other son! What a day!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been quiet here lately--waiting for spring. We have had a good bit of much needed rain and the daffodils are starting to come up. I wonder what will be the hot "topic" for this spring and summer, something that will sell by the truckloads. I'm still trying to figure all this out and have a long way to go, but I have made improvements. One week I sell a fair amount and the next week the buyers take a break. (I'm having fun, though.) I don't live in a metropolitan area so I'm slow to catch the fads. Any blogs about such things can really help out! Meanwhile, I just wander aimless around and point my camera.

I have recently discovered a free website for artists in my state and there are probably some in other areas, also. On my site, that I'm trying to finish, I can put info about my Dreamstime account. It has introduced a lot of people to Dreamstime. And, hey, free works for me! I don't advertise my other small business in order to keep costs down for customers, so anything else I can do to let people know about my services is nice. And in the future, I plan to put my Dreamstime URL on the back of my business cards to advertise both at the same time. edited by admin - moved image top left

I'm trying to figure out this camera and get some more pictures onto my site. Mostly I have gotten my summer lake fun, and with the autumn season coming up I want to get some good colors. Do most people use RAW or JPEG? I have too many jobs and hobbies to spend a lot of time on my computer so it takes me a while. ( I need to sleep a little, too. ) If you take the time to look at my site, I will appreciate any comments: good or bad! My feeling don't get hurt easily.

Susan Leggett
(Noonie)
Tiger, US
My real job is caning chairs and repairing wicker pieces. But since getting a new camera, I have started carrying it everywhere. Now I take the time to do photography. I love being outside and have many hobbies that take me outdoors. I'm hoping to get the hang of this and be able to balance all of my fun and work!
