Scanning 35mm slides     posted on 21st of february, 2009
I have thousands of slides in my files, and haven't given them nearly the attention they deserve.

I recently looked over my statistics: paying attention to which images were viewed and downloaded the most. I discovered that my OLD SLIDE FILM was getting a very high level of interest.

I have been a bit slow to keep the images coming into dreamstime of late, so with this information I'll be scanning my slides at a greater pace and uploading more images this spring!

I just made my own automatic slide scanner out of a Kodak projector and my Nikon SLR gear. It works like a dream and the quality is excellent. If you are interested I have uploaded some photos and a description here http://www.avidia.dk/hardware.html - posted by Jbonde on March 07, 2010
Of course! All of my images are posted here with the intent to have them used in any way allowed by the dreamstime (R) agreement. - posted by Photoboykane on May 15, 2009
I am writing a homeschool science textbook. I intend to publish it (hopefully). Can I use some of your landscape photographs in the book? Thanks! - posted by Mijohnson on May 15, 2009

New series of images     posted on 25th of february, 2009

I've just put up my first group of images since last May.

I can hardly believe it's been so long since I have been active here!

Most of the work I have on dreamstime consists of images captured while I was out and about on various locations.

This is the first time I utilized my studio skills to shoot something specifically for this venue.

I've made a commitment to myself to really get serious about submitting images on a regular basis.

I intended these shots for use as page edges: wedding invitations, stationary, etc.

I would appreciate hearing what YOU think about these latest photographs!
