The Red Bull Air Races, Crossing the Border, and Terrorisim

This past weekend I had an unusual experience while returning home from the 2010 Red Bull air Races in Windsor Canada.




I had decided that this year I was going to cross the border to the Canada side to shoot the Red Bull Air Races so I could have the Detroit skyline in the background. I made the right choice that day by shooting from Canada. It was a great day for shooting, and I got a lot of shots that I was happy with.





After the Races ended I headed back home across the border, excited to see my results. I had traveled alone to the races, because I usually like to be unencumbered while I shoot. Well first of all nice shots indeed! :)
Second I think we can't always know the full explanation of the things, specially related to the authorities!
Some times for some reason someone could be in the wrong place on the wrong day & on the wrong hour!
At the same time yes there is a global paranoid that went installed in the whole world after the 9/11...
I'm shocked with the fact that hand written personal stuff can be read by some security person with out being under arrest!!
