When I first mentioned to friends and family that I was planning a trip to Japan, many inquired why now? In light of the ongoing nuclear crisis many people felt all Japan was unsafe. However despite the scale and tragedy of the situation, most of Japan is still business as usual and the country still offers up all the beautiful sites.
Traveling through the country, I was able to capture some of my favorite spots while discovering many new ones. Two weeks proved not to be nearly enough time in a nation filled with notable landmarks. Regardless I was able to take thousands of shots and I thought I'd share a few here.
So here are some reminders of the beauty of Japan!
