Uncertain about how best to upgrade camera

Hi,

I've been shooting with a Canon EOS 400D since the model came out (6-7 years ago) and although I upgraded with lenses I am now finally going towards that already late body upgrade.

I've been reading reviews of different models and I've narrowed it all down to either the Canon EOS 60D or the 7D.

Now given that the current market price sets a 400 euro price difference between the two cameras I am highly uncertain whether it's actually worth it.

So any 60D and 7D users care to partake and share some first hand experience input?
Should I go for the 60D or buy the 7D although it involves a much higher financial strain which I am uncertain if it's truly justified.

	Posted by Robinstockphotos on April 29, 2013 Sindorei: Honest answer about noise? Just check pixel-peeper.com They will let you see full size photos of any camera model at any ISO. Decide there. :) If you need better noise performance just check for highest ISO available. Greater the upper limit....better the performance.

	Posted by Robinstockphotos on April 29, 2013 I have used a 600D, 550D, 40D and 7D and some other out-of-budget stuff, but I think the 7D is really good. But if you use the 5D mark II after that, you may feel that you should have waited and upgraded right to the 5D. Anyway, seriously, do you want to upgrade to a 7D or 60D right away? I'd rather go for a 600D. 7D is good if you're using continuous shooting and shooting birds and wildlife most of the time....but for general stuff, 600D has ALWAYS been my favorite. Noise performance is good and you can do a lot of stuff with it, while sparing $$$ for better lenses. :)
