Repetitive Motion Injury

posted on 30th of january, 2013
The age of digital photography has given me a problem that would not have occurred back in the film and darkroom era – namely, repetitive motion injury from processing images on the computer in Photoshop. Hence, my upload of work over the next while will be very small as I am to avoid computer use. My computer set-up is ergonomically correct, yet it still happened. Voice activated Photoshop hasn’t arrived yet, so I am not sure how to proceed if I still wish to process my images. I am sure this problem has occurred with other digital photographers and I am looking for any comments, solutions, or insights. Cheers and thanks.

I thank everyone for their help and suggestions. I have purchased a trackball mouse and will try a wristbrace. I also had two cold laser therepy sessions and that has helped. I wonder what problems people are going to develope with their thumbs from all the texting....
Cheers and Thanks
