Picture quality suffers with zooming

I do not know, if this is the right place to ask a question from fellow photographers.
I have a Sony DSLR F-828. Good one.

Starting in a rush

So, the rush is on. Our goal? 750 quality images up and running by the end of April. We are currently at 250.
