Harvest Time

posted on 12th of september, 2007

Its approaching harvest time here in the northern hemisphere. Here's a few shots of mine that were recently approved that try to capture some of the forthcoming season:

A few small pumpkins against a black background.

A mixture of Indian corn, pumpkins and funny gourds.

A typical scene around east Texas this time of year. Time to cut the fields and roll the hay up into giant round bales. Each of these weights 1500-2000 pounds.

A more artsy approach - nice blue sky over this bale of hay.

And finally, not unique to this time of year, but here's a nice white Brahman bull in the pasture.

I love fall. Always have. Everything is starting to slow down, the colors are so rich, and the air is so crisp. :) These images do a great job of capturing just that!
