Floral Blues!

We normally know stock agencies telling in their FAQs that they have had enough photographs of flower. And they actually mean it. I totally accept their outlook and their frustration over receiving too many flowers and very few of them worth appreciation. The subject is too irresistible to ignore even for a person who is not a photographer. The sheer natural beauty of the vivid colors and structure of a flower amazes a child and an elder person in equal excitement. But still, I myself refrain from clicking flowers and not because I cannot submit them here or for competitions but there is some other reason.

Creative Sun

In my last blog I explained how we can be creative about photographing flowers and making them more attractive, this time I will talk about sunset/sunrise photographs which are equally in abundance with the stock agencies or photography showcases. Like flowers, sunsets and sunrises are also very attractive. The colors in a lightly cloudy sky at sunset can take us into a trance of nature, a bliss like no other. We often wonder who has painted this beautiful picture right in front of us. Never in nature can we see so many shades and colors on such a vast canvas of the sky.

/thanks for the feedback. You will need some post-processing to get them accepted. Mainly the issue is noise in such silhouettes

I LOVE Water Colors. Did you use filters or post-processing on that or was it all natural lighting with no filtering? Beautiful colors! I would love to learn how to shoot these silhouettes like you do.

My Charity Concert

Many of you here might or might not be aware that my main profession is related to music. I am a composer,writer,singer and dancer. I am also the CEO for a new music label in India. Since I understood music I have been a fan of Michael Jackson. Many people love him, hate him and yet many are least concerned. I officially started his fanclub in India "The Official Indian Michael Jackson Fanclub" - www.clubmj.com some years back and since then I have been organizing charity concerts under the title series "Heal the World Concert". I am not from those fans who scream and faint or go ecstatic about MJ. I love MJ as an artist and as a humanitarian and am least concerned about his personal life.
