Thinking ahead for future sales

posted on 18th of may, 2008

A while ago, I got a bit of advice from someone who has been contributing to stock photography sites for a lot longer than I have. That advice was to prepare images for future sales, as many designers work months in advance of an upcoming holiday or event. For example, last year, my Christmas images were downloaded more in September and October than they were in December.

So, I thought I would just pass that information on. Some upcoming events that I have been working on are, Christmas, Fall, Election day and New Year 2009.

So, I think we might want to unpack a few of those holiday decorations and get busy. LOL

About me

Art has always been a part of my life. Photography was a natural part of the evolution. I have a closet full of cameras and lenses, including a 3D camera. All of which are gathering dust since digital cameras came along and changed the world. For the past 10+ years I have been trying to learn all I can about post production and digital art. Even after all these years, I know I have not even begun to scratch the surface of all there is to know. And so, the journey continues.
