Hospital Shots

posted on 14th of august, 2008

I'm a nurse so decided to take my camera in with me to work and get a few shots.... might as well make the most of the environments that you have access to on a daily basis to build your portfolio!

Wait ago Rebecca for taking your portfolio a step further. I am sure you can find a lot of great shots as a nurse, if not people then still life objects. That of course is if you have time while you are at work to sneak in some shots. My brother is a nurse and he has 12 hour shifts so I think it can be hard some days.

I used to work in the Engineering section of a hospital. Those signs bring back memories.

Great suggestion from Talanis! There are so many medical related ideas at your fingertips. The interaction between patients and staff. Or the image of a nurses hands adjusting IV rate, the equipment, the ambulance with lights on backing up to the ER. And, get some of your MD and Nurse buddies to do the ever popular "pose with surgical mask and stethoscope. Have fun and wishing you tons of success!

That is a good idea Rebecca. Medical stock photos are always in high demand. I work as an osteopath and my wife as a physical therapist and I know I need to make a few photo shoots of us in action but never seem to find the time for it... hehe.
Try to get a few of your fellow nurses or the doctors to sign model release or shoot only the limbs in action ;)

You are a nurse, a white angel.

I think you can find a lot of shooting the subject in your hospital .
