My region Umbria: Assisi and Spoleto

posted on 20th of july, 2008

Today I want speak of my beautiful region who I live. Umbria is the green heart of Italy and it is composed of History, culture, gastronomy and folklore, uncontaminated nature and art towns. The playbill is extremely rich and combines the greatest and consolidated manifestations of the national panorama with surprises, inventions and novelties in a hymn to fantasy and creativity. Towns, boroughs, villages and museums boast a striking artistic, monumental, archaeological patrimony in a natural scenario of rare beauty. Folklore is also relevant and old rites and customs are rediscovered on occasion of any single festivity.
The umbria's city that I prefer are Assisi and Spoleto.

Great shots Elisa, Umbria looks like a wonderful town. I never made it there when I was in Italy, I did however fall in love with the Italian country side. My favorite city was Trovoli.
