Space Is The Limit!

posted on 30th of august, 2009

On the 27th of August I heard some inaccurate news (I don't remember if it was an e-mail!) that Mars will be the closest to earth, so it will be seen like another moon!
On that night I was driving home and suddenly when I remembered I stopped the car and had a walk to see if I can see the moon clearly!
I saw half of a moon :)) But haven't seen the other moon (Mars)! I confess I started looking to the stars like who has lost something :))

But this story has inspired me to make these illustrations...

Another thing, I would like to thank Ioana (Nikitu) because I remembered what she once said in a blog about what to do when we don't feel inspired about something to upload!

Who didn't read it please do! Ioana can write a bible for micro-stockers...

Cheers ;)

Thanks Ioana I didn't know that! So this blog came 6 years later :))
I am curious about astronomy since I like the mysterious stuff of the old Egyptians and the pharaohs! Many of their phenomenons based on astrology...

Cheers :)

Actually I couldn't see anything special on that night (Maybe for a naked eye!)
Thanks for the info.
Cheers ;)

Cause it happened 6 years ago :) Here is the article with the actual astronomic event LINK (I just love astronomy, my other hobby)

Inga, please don't tell me you're an astrophysicist. It sends chills up my spine thinking about the conversations we could have.

No Bible coming soon, maybe after I retire.
As for the Mars news, Mars was indeed more visible, but that news is like 8 years old or so and it was maybe larger than Venus, no way the size of the Moon. What I do remember is that it reflected in the sea, which hardly ever happens for anything else other than the Moon and the Sun.

Mrs photographer it's a big space! Why gethering them all in one! :P
Think commercial LOL
I remember the 10th rule! Have you discovered anything? :))

Inganielsen your having a big dream here! Cool, as I said space is the limit, who knows it might become true ;)

As an astrophysicist I must point out, that Mars is not a moon at all but has two moons itself ;)
And I don't consider it as a final frontier, rather as a next step to the great unknown. I still hope that I can go to Mars someday and I will not give up that hope until I die! Of course my camera must join me on that trip :D
But perhaps it is more efficient to invent a great fast (warp?-)drive we could go even farther away. :)

Yeah, I still remember her 10th advise :))
And Maen, you could make some illustrations with more planets on it (only one planet in the centre of the image ... if you were a photographer you would know the rule of thirds :))0))))
OK .. these are nice!
