where have you found your models?

was just wondering where you found models for your portfolios on Dreamstime, or different websites like that? Are these models your relatives, friends? Are they strangers and you are paying them for posing?

I use whoever I can find. I have used strangers, friends, or just people wanting a modeling port, which I do TFCD.

I asked one of my friends and she said: 'Oh, my God! I've been waiting for "pro" photos all my life! Let's do it! When? Where? What to take with me? What kind of clothes should I wear? ....". The session was awesome and we had a lot of fun! And now .. after everyone is seeing the photos, everyone wants me to take photos of him/her!
So, try with your family and friends! Good luck!

My daughter and my mom so far. And myself. I don't charge me a fee, and i don't have to explain to me what I am after.

My models are all family. I haven't really been able to figure out how to find other models. Some suggestions I've heard is offering someone a free photoshoot if they just sign a model release.
