Keywords... Please Help!!!

posted on 28th of september, 2009

My apologies if this post does not belong here, but I tried being more resourceful and went to the quicksearch, but to no avail. So I thought I’d ask here…

I wanted to add keywords to my images, as Photobunnyuk so thoughtfully suggested [Thanks again, Photobunnyuk!]. I went to Edit Images: My Images->Modify Image, and started adding keywords then saved changes. It didn’t give me an error message, however, when I returned to the image, the additional keywords were not there. I gave it a couple of days thinking that it probably takes a while to apply, but… nope!

Is there a step I missed or is this done elsewhere?

Please help!

Thank you!

I added "aquatic" & "aquarium" to my seadragon using Hlehnerer's instruction but it didn't work :( . It allows me to edit the title but not the keywords. I think, as Tangie suggested, I'll need to address this issue w/ DT support.

Thanks, all, for your suggestions and comments. I will post back when I hear back from support.

maybe by now you should be seeing them

It would be helpful if we knew what you added :) so that we can check if they were added or not. At least one or two keywords. And yes, it may take time for the system to update but not that long. I think the best solution is to contact support fot them to investigate if this is not a technical error.

This should work instantly. Go to "Management Area" - "Online Files" - click on "Edit" button for the image you like to change the keywords - edit the keywords in the Keyword box - then click the "Submit" button on the bottom of the page.

I just got ready to upload including keywords then clicked a property release key [ which I shouldn#'t have ] and lost everything and had to start again. Its not amusing so I know how you feel. Each images takes quite a bit of time to submit even when all goes smoothly. David. !

About me

My name is Juvy. Jennifer, the name on my profile, is my youngest daughter—she is the inspiration behind my creative work, not only in photography but also in many other things. As a very close friend of ours put it, Jennifer brings out the best in Juvy. So if you like my images, kudos to Jennifer; otherwise, well... we have Juvy to blame for. A little about me: I am a wife and a mother, first and foremost. By profession, I am an accountant, but wish that I am a photographer instead! I love capturing candid shots of people--I think this was a result of that wondrous experience called ... [Read more]
