Give them what they want!

posted on 13th of october, 2009

So, 2 months in and not great results. At the moment searching around for the right content that will interest enough buyers and generate sales. My latest train of thought has been background content as this is something that I would use also. The trick is making it interesting and different enough.
It seems a lot of things are covered these days, but now microstock is established the quality is getting better. This seems to show in the popularity of images - the poor ones just don't really register. Now all I need to do is produce a really good image that lots of people want. Now what could that be...............?

Thanks all for positive replies. Encouraging to know that I'm on the right track. Reading into this further it seems time is also a factor - getting a large enough portfolio together with an established site presence/profile which some buyers may notice and so keep checking on you.

Keep the faith!

Don't give up - the key to success is to keep at it. You haven't been around very long, and don't have a huge portfolio. You're on the right track to be thinking about what people want and can use your shots for...
