Life Can't Be Better On Dreamstime

posted on 1st of june, 2009

© Maigi (Help) Wow, DT has become my best selling agency on this stock wonderland!!!
With average 1.44 RPD this year, DT is definitely a company that makes you feel as a real partner. With the kind communication with contributors, DT team has made this site a cozy, comfortable, friendly place to be and enjoy beautiful artwork of fellow contributors. Thank you all, DT team, photogs, and photo buyers for this nice environment and great experience.
And just when I started to think about seeing exclusive photographer status on the different light (and much better than before), I discovered a W-EL sale on my account. With all those BMEs and W-ELs I just can say: "Life can't be better on DT." Thanks everyone!!

Worldwide PhotoWalk on July 18th 2009

posted on 4th of june, 2009

Have you heard about it?!?
A little while ago Scott Kelby's announced his Second Annual Worldwide Photo Walk.
The official PhotoWalk day is Saturday, July 18th 2009.
There are hundreds of cities around the world which have scheduled PhotoWalks.
The idea is just to go out and shoot, and have a lot of fun with fellow photographers.
On the PhotoWalk site: http://worldwidephotowalk.com, you can check out the nearest location for you. Or you can also volunteer to lead your own photowalk.
The best of the Photowalk 2008
Let's have a stockowalk! ;)

Good idea! Thanks for the info, Maigi. Wonder if I'll be able to do it...there are some around me but the one I want to go to is a bit of a drive.

I played around with lights some, don't know how to make them do what I want, but they're pretty.

Made In ...

posted on 6th of june, 2009

Funny thing... browsing images on a photography site, I spotted an image with a funny label. Instead of usual Made in USA or Made in China or Made in whatever country, there was written:
MADE IN 90ies
That actually made a point. With that worldwide globalization, it doesn't help, when I read for example on the boots "Made in Finland", when I know, they are made in Estonia, in a factory where most of workers are Russians. Toys with label "Made in USA" are made in China, computer parts "Made in Japan" are made in Malaysia. Or lets take Pontiac Le Mans, made by GM. Made in USA, right? Wrong! It is assembled in South Korea, designed in Germany, and its parts are produced in Australia, Canada, France, Japan, Singapore and also in USA.
So that "Made in" doesn't really...

Yep, I never pay attention to those things! And some of us probably don't know where we were made :-)

I like that idea for that image!!!!! That sounds like something a child could put on their t-shirt for a joke - "I was made in the 90ies"! :)

I also like your point about where things are made and the globalization of production of goods.
