Probably you have had situations when, after downloading pictures from camera to PC, you've noticed that some shots are out of focus due to incorrect focusing or accidental shake during long exposure shooting. Seems like wasted shot, isn't it? NO IT IS NOT!
Be creative and use it as a source of your art work. Using Photoshop or some other photo editing program, go through the Filter menu and do something new - add effects or even more blur. The result will be surprisingly cool!
For the 1st image of the two I've used in this blog post, I've used (in Photoshop) Radial blur (zoom) for the sky and motion blur for the sea. Unfocused shot game out surprisingly well, isn't it?
And for the second picture I went into further, using special effects (quite slow...
..so much of the summer 2009. Today - the 1st day of autumn - rainy, windy, bit stormy - NICE. I really don't miss the summer. Why? Well, i don't really like hot days when the sun is burning high in the sky... well unless i'm traveling :) In terms of photography i don't like sharp sunlight as well - shadows too sharp. That's why other 3 seasons are more suitable for me, because when i have spare time i love to take photos. And now when the autumn has arrive, time to go to forest to capture colors, let them be the colorful leaves or red fly agarics with white dots. Wind is also cool - just go near to mule in the sea and you'll see ;)
Of course there are some negative aspects as well - days get shorter and shorter, and colder as well. But, if you like to...
I smiply love all the seasons. In my country, Romania all the seasons are very beautiful. Also, I lived in London 3 years and I will always remember the beautiful autumn and colored leaves...Every season has its romance. You only have to feel it
After my 8 years in Dubai, I hateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee summer, but helpless, 9 months we have summer and 40 plus temp. Well lucky in another few weeks we will have some relief from this sun. Enjoy your Autum season and shoot lots of images.
