EXIF/IPTC editing

posted on 14th of september, 2009

there are programs available that allows you to edit the Exif/Iptc data of a photo so that you can add title, describtion and keywords to it. Which program works best?
So far I found and tried I.tag but it turned out it accepted only 5 keywords from a list of 30. Title and description worked OK.

Thank you all, for all the suggestions and tips. I tried several suggestions and ended up with Photoshop CS3 that works best. This makes submitting a lot easier so I have more time left for the shooting:)

I use Photoshop or Bridge to change the Title and keyword

Each upload is a celebration

posted on 16th of september, 2009

Now I understand why people celebrate and announce their uploads. I went from 10 to 5 uploads a day because of massive uploads. Today I was "done" after one single upload!
With this limit it takes forever to built a reasonable portfolio and everyone knows that size does matter.....
Besides that: the last weeks there have been some technical problems that even made my 5 uploads a day impossible.
I hope DT understands that this won't work for us (creative) photographers!

Great portfolio, Have to agree with you on uploads. There must be some technical problem causing this slow down.

Most women already know what chocolate does to you...I got my first level 2 from chocolate! This gives me a good excuse to get some more chocolate bars for studio purposes:):)

Seasonal images

posted on 23rd of september, 2009

My first autumn sale is a winter photo that was uploaded last week. The buyer searched for "Thanksgiving" and picked my photo that was created as a Newyears image.
It's another proof that the market is always working months a head so I suggest we start uploading our easter egg photo's by the end of december:)

Autumn pics wanted!

posted on 30th of september, 2009

Days are shortening, it's getting colder but nature is showing us the best colors available.

I just started an autumn picture collection and hope that everyone send me his or her best autumn photo so I can put it into the gallery. Just send me the number of the image you want to be seen in the collection.
