Create the new trend with your image

posted on 16th of january, 2010

So you've tried all the conservative, safe stock options, generic in nature, (C'mon let's face it, we all have tried to copy Yuri Arcurs at least once), but in your mind you have an image/series of images that will determine the future of stock, or should at least. What is it? Please share, maybe some really big league designer will see it, and a new Yuri might be born!

I know - that's the cunundrem of RF stock - it needs to be applicable yet fresh and new, generic but unique.

I think you are hitting on something big here - It gets old seeing so many "group of young business people" images on these sites. Let's try and think outside the box. Now I just need to get my brain dusted off and working - every day is a new chance to shine.

Both points noted - but in a perfect world - with you having the marketing, exposure etc - what image would you like to set the trend?

Well i'm more into travel related images, may coz I buy a lot of them for the magazines, never tried to copy Yuri style, but might be one day down the line.I like the first image in this blog, its great.

there are many other competitors and many new ideas. But let's face it: marketing, advertising, changing ideas...all these areas require time, money and the list of resources could be infinite
