To find and to be found

posted on 9th of march, 2010

The shown image was just downloaded.

It was found using the word "mountain" only. If I use this keyword I get nearly 10000 findings, and I can not find my image because the search is limited to 4000 pictures; I am adviced to refine my search... Any ideas how the buyer found this image?

Brad's right if you look for mountain and then tick only people in the refined search area, you're there on the 1st page. Buyer could also refine the search to a vertical shot, use the dynamic search which allows to scroll down rapidly... Many ways to find the perfect picture, and yours definitely stands out!

Wonderful image! So clear and crisp. I have always found it amazing that on a site with nearly 8,000,000 images, that anyone finds any of mine. It always makes me happy though. Have a great day!

If you check 'with people' and search on 'mountain' you are in the first page of results... Perhaps that was how!

Where did you find that it was exactly found by the word mountain? Maybe if this pic is new on DT the person could sort the resoults by the date and then find yours, but there can be more possible reasons as said the comment before me.

I'm not sure, but one possibility is that he or she clicked on some other image that appeared under the search "mountain", and your picture may have been listed under "similar images". Perhaps the person saw it there, clicked on it and bought it. Either way, congrats!!!
