After two years of uploading on to Dreamstime,i finally reached 350 uploads and still hold a 59.6 percent acceptance ratio.
I stayed at 348 for a few months till i had the opportunity to capture these two large scale indy car models.I photographed the models on Saturday and uploaded them that night. They were both approved on Monday morning.
The place where the models were on display had a bunch of bright light which caused many reflections at all kinds of angles.I then decided to attach my Cokin circular polarizing filter to my lens and even though i was indoors the shots turned out really well.I didn't have any trouble with my white balance settings even with the polarizer attached and the reflections and the glare was very much under control.
I reckon the fact that the images were excepted means that somebody else thought my little trick was acceptable.Anyway since i've never tried to use such a filter indoors i know now that it can work.
There was some small scale Nascar models on display also which i plan to go back and capture and i hope they get accepted also.
In the mean time i'm going to set my goal to reach 400 uploads. If anyone is wondering about the logos in these images, they were uploaded as editorial images since they were captured at a show.
Thank you Dreamstime for accepting my images and giving me the opportunity to share them with others.
